lol Rayudu has basically spent 100 balls digging himself a hole and then trying to slog his way out. Munro really deserved that wicket.
Not so sure about that. A couple of early wickets, KW playing-on or being strangled down the leg-side, & I could conceivably see your loopy spinners rolling us for 190.NZ are well in control.. anything less than 250 should be a straightforward chase IMO.
Kuldeep's not playing this one.Not so sure about that. A couple of early wickets, KW playing-on or being strangled down the leg-side, & I could conceivably see your loopy spinners rolling us for 190.
Definitely, but I’d have like them to show some intent by bowling Astle rather than 10 from Munners.Tbf this is often the pattern in ODI games. Just because the new-ball does a bit & you get 4-5 wickets in the first 15-20 overs doesn't normally follow that you roll them easily thereafter.
Batting generally gets easier. I still remember it costing us in the '03 WC when we had Australia 6 down for **** -all, but got greedy and bowled Bond out his full quota early, only to be impenetrable at the end when Lee and Bickel took the game away from us.
You still have Chahal & Jadhav. Point stands.Kuldeep's not playing this one.
Henry isn't a 'mid-innings' spell bowler, that's the only problem. In fact I'm not convinced he's consistently a death bowler either.Definitely, but I’d have like them to show some intent by bowling Astle rather than 10 from Munners.
Or brought Henry or Boult back for a mid innings spell.
But the innings has been ****ing horrible lolRayadu has proved himself for a while now despite all his runs being excused as easy/lucky/unimportant. They can't take this innings off him
I think it's hard to criticise a 90 (113) too much considering it was, what, 4/25ish?But the innings has been ****ing horrible lol
He’s more of a mid innings bowler than a death bowler. If Ferguson ends up in the team with him I’d bowl Henry out mid innings and leave the death to Ferguson.Henry isn't a 'mid-innings' spell bowler, that's the only problem. In fact I'm not convinced he's consistently a death bowler either.
Well, Astle got tried for one over, but whatever. We tried all of our middle overs bowlers and Munro was by far the hardest to score off and really should have had Rayudu out, it was obvious why he was kept on
KW's very, very, very conservative with leg spinWell, Astle got tried for one over, but whatever.
