Brisbane and Perth are stinking this competition up to an extent not seen since the pre-Hussey Thunder wooden spoon days.

I'm officially changing my allegiance to women's cricket. Saturday's final was a corker.

Yes, and having been in Tassy the last month I don't envy the blokes. Was a bushfire or two a few kms away during the dig last Friday, air tasted like bonfire which wasn't helped by Tasmanian winds, all the undergraduates were practically dying of heat or breathing issues and it felt 10 degrees hotter than it ought to have been on a 36 degree day.

It looked like one was burning out near Bellerieve on Saturday actually, must be ****ed for their emergency services right now.

Don't think so considering it was Pope dropped for him, probably more a team balance based call.

I don't think they're actually even allowed to select him unless someone gets injured and they apply for a temporary squad addition, like Melbourne did with Larkin.

Carey has been even worse this season

It was all too predictable that Lehmann would get runs as soon as they promoted him. So silly he was down at 6 for so long. He's scored back to back 40s in 120 odd team totals
