Also, the only reason the Heat could classify as 'the most popular franchise in the BBL' is because the two larger cities have two teams each.
They certainly seem popular with the commentators.

Stoinis handled that slow wicket nicely. Maxie holes out along with others at a slow MCG.
Renshaw kept it on the carpet and Lynn should be relieved of the captaincy.
You know the pitch is holding up when Dunk is scratchy he even fades along with the pitch if he gets to the middle overs.

Yeah Brisbane didn't need to lose the wickets they lost. They just needed to do what Renshaw and Pierson did - turn over the strike and hit the occasional 4 when there is a bad ball.
McCullum has been in rotten form this season and Lynn has been down on form too. Without those two firing the Heat have been woeful. Bryant is coming along which is nice but when all of your eggs are in the batting basket the batsmen need to fire.
I'm just happy the Scorchers are doing even worse.

Are the Scorchers eliminated?Cricbuzz commentary says they are but I’ve seen betting odds suggesting that they still have a chance of making top 4 all be it a very slim one.

Maybe Langer actually is a good coach and Australia's batting just turned to **** when he took over the batting coach role and then again when he took over the coaching role. And maybe WA is just a really bad shield side because their players are bad too.
Honestly, Cartwright has been the biggest disappointment since his test appearance. Done nothing in any form of the game to warrant anything close to a recall. I wanted him to be piling on thousands of runs by now.
