Ease my bredda. We got this.

Roston Chase has a big role to play. We need to rotate our pacers wisely.

At some point, I would love to see Alzarri and Shannon operating in tandem.
Agreed, Chase has to bowl better tomorrow, he was far too short today. Like the look of Campbell as a spinner also.

I also think we need to be aggressive in phases. Like you say, get Joseph and Gabriel on and bring in a short leg.

Yeah, we have resources in the spin department. I like this chap Campbell. He's a very positive player-- kinda like Shimron .

Undoubtedly, Alzarri is the most talented bowler in this quartet.

I watched him dismantling TT last week with crazy swing bowling. I think he has the ability to reverse swing it.

Alzarri bowling is to victory tomorrow would complete a dream test match for us. Alas life isn't like that for a West Indies fan.

Holy moly. Just when I thought this game could get any wackier, this happens. When I went to bed last night Dowrich & Holder had just arrived at the crease. And then I woke up to this...

I hate to break it to you but it sounds like you were asleep for about 36 hours.

They'll bowl them out for around 420 midway through day 5 with someone making a hundred and some annoying lower order partnerships.

I'm cracking open a 15 year old Appleton's tonight.

They should have kept on batting until JIMMY's pride made he retire midway through the Test.

I'd be surprised if England last until day 5. As a batting line up England lack the technique and the mental strength to grind it out.

I’m hoping we can take this into the fifth day, that might depend on the amount the pitch has deteriorated but hopefully it hasn’t.....at all.

Love the openers to get themselves set again.

Gotta use this warm up game to get into form for the upcoming 2 test series.
Horrible pessimists, the lot of you. Grind it out for 180 overs and salvage a draw.
See out the initial overs and the West Indian quicks will tire; they don't have a spinner who can sustain the pressure from the other end.

Chase is serviceable.

WI got their team balance pretty spot on for these conditions I feel, no point in playing Bishoo just for the sake of it. All the quicks took wickets.

There hasn’t been any excessive turn at this stage, though we are only three days in, so unless that changes you’d expect Chase to just play a supporting role, giving the quicks a rest when they’ve had lengthy spells early on in the day. I’m sure WI are expecting some variation in bounce as the day progresses.

Is Rashid injured? What is the point in playing him if Root is going to bowl more overs?
Nope, just poor unless it's turning square. And obviously he shouldn't have been picked ahead of Broad, but apparently our selection panel thought they knew better than the hosts in terms of what the attack should look like. Anyway, confidently expecting 350 for 1 at close of play.
