Haze or Starc. Haze should be better than Starc in England, but he wasn’t great last time there

Would like to see the Great Russel Arnold on comms through this series, in between coaching Parra.

We've bowled wonderfully here. Just hope that the ball doesn't hoop too much under lights.

Hopefully Dickwella can slog for 10 overs, then Australia can lose 4 or 5 in the last hour. Otherwise this test could be a bore

While you never want to be bowled out for 150 in the first innings, SL have picked a great time to do it (if they do) in a D/N test. It'll give them easily the best of the conditions and Aus being 4+ early wickets quickly could easily happen

Not really loving it tbh. It’s the Gabba, and a lot of sides roll over there. Plus tbf, having a crack at this SL side is a bit like clubbing baby seals - they’re nothing like what they were three or five years ago. Wasn’t really expecting much from them tbh. It sucks from a watching pov though, but then again SL always has always been an utter waste of time and oxygen when they’ve come here.

Series may be kept interesting by how **** Australia’s batting is though. But Perera getting injured could be a real disaster if he’s no good to bowl.

Why don’t they bounce the **** out of him on balls five and six ffs?

Also, third man should have let that go for four

Dickwella now has 11 fifties and no tons. You'd have to assume he ain't getting one here either lol.

Watch out Chetan Chahaul

I think it’s fair to say that based on what we’ve seen so far, Richardson is a better version of James Anderson who bowls10kph faster to boot. Hard to see anything other than him dominating the Ashes and taking 40 plus wickets at an average of about seven.
