He did it quite a bit at the start of his ODI career when he was a swing bowler. I don't think he's done it for about ten years though, and quite possibly never in T20Is.

Watching the respecting highlight reels, Wade's innings looked a lot more assured than Short's which was a bit edgy. Some of those shots from Short were hit very hard. There was a touch of Brad Haddin in the 4 he smoked down the ground.

Arjun Nair still chucks it just as much as he did before, but his bowling is even worse. Opposition teams will be begging the umpires not to report him so he can keep bowling.

CA considers change to future schedule

In my opinion, the Test summer should run until Sydney, which would occupy its usual spot in the calendar. The Big Bash could start on Christmas Eve, by which point the Test team for Melbourne would be locked in, so there would be minimal impact on preparation for the main format.

The BBL could go back to a shorter format with the final scheduled for the Sunday of the Australia Day weekend. It would maximise crowds during the school holiday period while helping to attract white ball specialists from overseas that would otherwise play in the BPL.

T20Is and ODIs could then take place in February when no-one is paying attention any more.
