That Sangha non-catch in the earlier game was hilarious. Stood about 10m away from where the ball landed.

How good was the shot though? I actually think the follow through may have caused the confusion, seeing as the cameraman lost it as well.

Reminds me a bit of a fund raising game we played up in the mountains once. Really pretty ground up in Blackheath (ground where Bradman made a ton in three eight ball overs once).

Anyway we’re out fielding first in the morning and this fog starts rolling on. Thick enough you couldn’t see the boundary from the pitch, and vice versa. Anyway, it’s a fun game so play on. Mate of mine comes in and bowls, this local fella absolutely moose’s this thing to the leg side. Like just from the sound off the bat it’s out of the park by about forty metres and lost ball.

Next thing we hear is one of our blokes out on the boundary who we can’t see yell “Howzat!?”
“What?”
“I caught it.”
“No you didn’t.”
“Prove I didn’t...”

Devcich was signed before NZ domestic contracts were sorted, so was way ahead. Gurney was also signed quite a while ago.

My guess is Dan Christian might have something to do with it,him being Gurney’s captain at Notts and them needing a cheap handy death bowler for when Usman went

It's been weird to see Klinger struggling for runs. Feels like he's been a leading run scorer in every format for the last 10 years. Had a great career and should have played more for Australia, especially in Limited-overs.

Short of match practice maybe, don't know how much cricket he played before this Big Bash started. Agree that he should have had more of a shot in the Australian white ball setup
