SL should get couple of wickets quickly and try to keep the score less than 320.

Angelo Mathews must be doing push ups and fist pumping in Sri Lankal. Lol

it was a not guilty verdict.

i mean, by the looks of it he was not guilty by the skin of his teeth, and it wasn't a "he's innocent" but since he was deemed "not guilty" then by both our ethics as a country and my own ethics he is as free to play professional cricket and be considered for cricketing spots on merit only as the rest of us are.

i wouldn't shed a tear if he got flayed around the park by dickwella but he's still allowed a job.
IDGAF about "verdict" IMO. Court's standards are absurdly high to be met for a hell lot (if not most) of ***ual assault cases. And the victim blaming/slut shaming by the lawyer too. I really don't need much to deem him a pest and doesn't deserve to get off so easy.

And I don't know why he deserves to be picked anyway, **** tons of better options than him.

Thought Munro would make a score this series and given the shortage of other options that (and maybe one more against Bang/India) will be enough to get him in the wc squad. Tick.

How does Perera keep getting selected (and used a a death bowler rather than in the middle) after turning in these performances again and again?

A joke cricketer.

Yeah, it's not as if they have a lot of better options though. Can be a decent lower order option w/ bowling middle overs darts. But jeez, really dished out ****ing filth today.

Henry again bowling 132-135 and not particularly accurately - he has been better than that in the past so now would be a good time to show it.

Didn't see our innings. Pleased to see Neesham go big again. Seifert's 22(17) looks ok on the scorecard but I see a few misses in the cricinfo commentary and a slow start - how was his innings altogether?

Was okay. Played a nice shot down the ground and a scoop for 4.

Like a lot of keeper/batsmen, there seems to be a fixation on sweeps/paddles rather than just standing still and playing straight.

Really gotta break this partnership now. Mendis looking p good + getting at least one boundary per over.

Sodhi to Mendis, OUT, oh Mendis will be filthy with himself this was drifting down leg, a bit short, and turned a bit. Mendis moved inside the line to paddle-sweep it, but only managed to pop it to Seifert off his bottom edge. The New Zealanders are gleeful, and why not. They've broken yet another partnership before it could go from promising to threatening
BKG Mendis c †Seifert b Sodhi 20 (30b 2x4 0x6) SR: 66.66
uhh.. what?
