I hope there's a match in Bangalore, last time you toured I got to see an AB masterclass in that rain-abandoned match, but I want to watch Steyn live in a Test match..

I reckon India will be wary of doing that this time because of Maharaj. Should be fun though. Ideally we get to watch Steyn blow us away one last time in one of the tests and we win the other two.

Think we will definitely need a 2nd spinner still. That seems up in the air for us.

Shamsi will do great on the subcontinent... Would love to see Shamsi, Maharaj with Muthusamy as back-up. Sadly, I think they may go with the far more defensive Piedt or even the erratic von Berg...

Like Shamsi, but not convinced of his control for Tests, if the pitches are anything like last time runs will be at a premium; need serious control. If we played three spinners with Maharaj, Muthumsamy and Piedt with Rabada and Steyn, would give options and extend the batting....... but lets get past the WC. :)

Most of Steyns carnage in the SC has been with reverse. But this RSA batting won't be able to take the heat long enough for reverse to matter unless it's a road.

No utter dustbowls either. It's the only way India loses at home. Reasonable to pretty heavy turn. Series will be a massacre as long as India get the pitches right.

But Indian batsmen are mostly pretty terrible players of spin so... We'll have 3 day tests and complaints, but like here it'll be the batsmen making the pitch look worse.
