Japrit Bumrah becomes the 2nd Asian and 1st Indian to claim a 5 wkt haul in AUS, SA and ENG. Mohammed Asif was the first Asian to do so. Amir can be 3rd if takes 5 wkts haul in SA.

Similarly Ashley Giles is the only non-Asian spinner to take 5 wkt haul in IND, PAK and SL ( Since 1990s).
Shane Warne?

Sorry, but you’re going to be wrong a number of times on this one. Vettori took two 5fers in India and one in SL. Paul Wiseman even took one in SL. Don’t forget Michael Clarke’s 6/9... O’Keefe as well last year? That’s just off the top of my head.

He means those who took a fifer in each of these 3 countries.

If no Australian scores a century in the second innings in Brisbane or at Manuka oval, it will be the first home season in over 120 years that no Australian batsman has scored a century in a home season.

Overseas it has not happened since 2010 when no Australian scored a century in England against Pakistan. Before that the 1956 Ashes were the last time. The only other time was the 1945-46 season which was a single test in New Zealand against New Zealand.

There is every chance of this happening as they may not need 2 innings in Manuka Oval.

Is 323 the smallest first innings score ever to give a side an innings victory ? It would be fairly close I would think.

To my surprise, the West Indies 381 run victory against England at Bridgetown is their second largest by Runs against England and third largest overall. I thought they might have had a few more of that sort of margin from the early eighties or early sixties.

More like testament to 'quality'of cricket pre war.
Simply a wet pitch. Those two batting lineups are perfectly acceptable.

Also, Holder's 202* is the third double century by a no. 8 in tests, and Holder and Dowrich's unbeaten partnership of 295 is the third largest seventh wicket partnership.

Any part time spinner have ever taken 8 wickets in an innings (barring Murali and Kumble) before Roston Chase "...those Crazy Baldheads out of town"?

Tony Greig's 8-86 at Port-of-Spain in 1974 (think it's fair to say he bowled more pace than spin).

Allan Border and Charles Macartney both got close.
