quick google search tells me that Australia's kabaddi team consisted of 3 professional players from India (Jasvir Singh, Nishant Sangwan and Kuldeep Singh), and a bunch of Australian footballers who had never heard of the sport 2 weeks before the tournamentAnd Australia have participated in the Kabaddi World Cup (at least the last one in 2016)..
What is more, if wiki is to be believed, 'all matches were streamed in 360-degree video with stereoscopic 3D options' by Fox Sports in Australia.
Don't really get why we are comparing kabaddi world cup to an AFL world cup that doesn't involve Australia
Nah in a team that also had Laxman, Dravid & Sehwag, Tendulkar is nowhere near as a big a loss as either one of Smith or Warner would be to this Australian side, let alone both. Also missing games through injury is a very different scenario, and one that happens quite often. There's no comparison.Fair point. Tendulkar is worth as much to batting as Smith Warner and Bancroft, and as big a cheat too.
