Ashraf not been in this Pakistan side is silly.

Should be a whipping this, average Pakistan side with no Abbas.

5 Northerns schooled players in this line up

Markram (Pretoria Boys)
Du Plessis (Affies)
De Bruyn (Menlopark)
Olivier (Centurion)
Steyn (Merensky in Limpopo)

This is now Elgar & de Kocks home ground too. No lack of home ground knowledge.

You'd have him bat at 3?
The two openers that are opening now.

Azhar
Asad
Babar
Sarfarz/ Ash

When you look at what he offers with bat and ball, think overseas he should be given a go especially if the alternatives are Masood and a kid in Afridi.

How KG moves the ball both ways through the air or off the seam is freakish.

Ps add high speed

Yeah I I liked the template they followed in England - 5 bowlers with Azhar opening (when Haris played). If they had won against New Zealand minus the batting collapses, they would have been more confident to go ahead with 5 batsmen and 5 bowlers but now don't see them having the confidence to go with one less batsman

I don't think it even be that much of a risk picking Ashraf as a bowler,he would add some depth to the lower order which they will need and I don't know if Afridi is that much of a better bowler than him anyhow.
