The carry hasn't been too bad on this pitch atleast from slightly short of a length, right? Literally zero sideways movement though, which is disappointing.

Happy I’m at Rose Bay doggo beach with the pooches rather than watching this dirge. You o ow it’s a featherbed if an Indian opener who gets badges in the first session can settle down and make a 50 on it.

it seems more like a "don't be a bowler" pitch
Been hearing this all morning and I was thinking of how often commentators repeat the boring "let both sides bat first" but then I realized they only do that after pushing forward a certain narrative of the pitch on Day 1 and then when it falls apart later, they bring up the 'let both sides bat'
