Stars might want to lift the run rate just a tad.

EDIT: Hurricanes lending a helping hand with a five.

There's a real problem with the BBL player lists when guys like Dunk and Dean are getting games as openers for one team, and guys like Renshaw & Labuschagne are sitting out for theirs

I don't understand the logic of not going hard when there's no fielders on the rope. Dunk and Dean are selfish players honestly

Larkin has hit some serious form though, last few weeks

He's turned from a perpetual waste of a spot into a contributing state cricketer overnight

Maxi playing like this with two fielders on the rope would be insane. Should open
He definitely should. When he's opened for Australia he's been brutally effective, but then they just move him back down the order next game. Presumably it's because there are always other guys who need to open because they can't play in the middle order, whereas Maxwell can do both pretty well, so even if Maxwell would be the best opening option, someone else gets the gig.

Interesting take. Im not sure of his international opening record but I'll take your word for it. Dean and Dunk should have absolutely been willing to sacrifice their wicket with such a powerful middle order. So annoying how many prime overs they chewed up
