he gave it a shot in NZ and didn't really go anywhere (2004 through to 2008) and then moved back to Sydney to resume his proper career and randomly got called up for NSW at in 2014 and almost straight away never disappointed for NSW. i'm not sure there's much to it other than improvement as he has aged while playing grade cricket
