Curious which of our 3 Hendricks's you're referring to... Not relations unless I missed the memo...

Eskom decreed I not watch any of this game, just as well though!

I missed De Kocks innings because of loadshedding :@

I do not believe he is deserving of a starting spot above markram and reeza unless he lifts his form a lot.
I wonder what Hash is thinking. He is very honest with himself. I think there is every chance he calls it for limited overs and see where he is for tests after this summer.

Right now you got to think we've invested in Reeza and Aiden and the up-side for both in the format is high. Also maybe gives Quinny that seniority in a round about way.

It would be nice too find a funky little middle order batsmen who can do a bit with the ball though

3-for on debut for Burger and now he gets Gayle in his 2nd game. Prince knows what he is doing. Nortje replacement but straight into the team.

SA could do with a left-armer.

Lovely to see.... but I really would like some new batsmen. Bowler production is pretty good.

Is really worrying.

2 things would have been nice to find this tournament.

A middle-order explosive player and seamer all-rounder who are relatively reliable. I think you know the answer to the problem and it isn't a good one. Even the SA incumbents have been average.

Besides Verreynne, Rickelton, Malan I don't think any uncapped batsmen scored a 50 who is u23- concerning. Reason why 8 teams are better for opportunity.

Vd Dussen is 18 (21) as a senior player and all he looks for is the leg side slog. Such a limited player.

I think most of the better young batting prospects were surprisingly not picked for this tournament. Otherwise, like you say, it's the same guys continuing to do well and who have already been picked. I almost feel both at FC level and the older international players are waiting to get past this WC and then we will see a big shift/change of the guard in the batting departments.

When Reeza bats like this its all class and we've mentioned this on here. Just as much as he goes on these runs he can easily go 10 innings without passing 20. Lets hope he can step up to be consistently good like this in a WC year.

Steyn is so pissed off. Think he feels he should have had vd Dussen out twice in that over.

I think so too. CSA must be aware of the concerns in the batting.

In a way it may be a blessing in disguise. Want guys like Hamza, Mulder, Qeshile, van Tonder, Breetzke to learn the ropes playing FC cricket and getting sound bases. A lot of the T20 stars did do it that way.

I wish they would shut up regarding this 6 challenge. I mean how often is 6 sixes hit in an over just about anywhere. And that over has to somehow be yours? You probably have a better chance winning the lottery while being struck by lightning.

 Tell me about it. They mention it when the 2nd/3rd ball is hit for 6 and it can't happen.

Seeing as the all-rounders are shite and we looking for a walk-in 6-hitter Pite Van Biljon has put his hand up. Who would have thought I would be saying that but desperate times and all that.

Jozi finish on 196-4 in their 20 overs. 25 from the final over!! 132 runs from the last 10 overs!! CT Blitz will need a mammoth 197 to keep their 100% win record at home intact. Let's do this

At the moment anybody who can finish a LO game off has a shot at the WC.

Andile has been disappointing. For all the opportunity he has been given I just don't think he has matured and made the best of his ability.
