What’s the initial verdict on Sipamla?
Nice strong action and a good attitude to keep coming back even when things may be going against him. Mid to high 130s and can drive a consistent length well for a young guy. Still 20 so with a bit of experience and getting stronger could add that extra bit of pace to go to the next level output wise ?

Been impressed by quite a few of the younger quicks. Rickelton and malan also showing some ability.

Bjorn Fortuin & George Linde may not be wrist-spinners for limited overs cricket but they coming along nicely.

So Nortje was rested... Um T20s have 4-over spells. That should be nothing for an elite quick... You bowl 20+ overs in a normal day of test / 4-day.

[Disclaimer, I am still sore after Saturday's 35 over club game, and I only bowled 3 overs of slow left-arm, although the batting was probably a bigger factor. Still.]

International but was still left out last game.

Now..

Rabada bats ahead of him and his first over goes for 17. Dwaine Pretorius.

Pretorius should hire me as his agent. My critique drives him on. But cmon AB miss hit a half volley down long offs throat.

I like seeing Elgar get runs in LO cricket... think he is underrated in the format.
Deano's boundaries are good too watch. Loved watching him in his younger days use his feet to the spinners and hit them down the ground.

Always some odd goblin little hacks in between though :D

But that is what makes it so wonderful to watch.

Trying to work out de Zorzi the player. Loads of opportunities but flattered to deceive. I actually do wonder if he must get a run in the middle order over the top order. Because I get the feeling he may be more suited to it?
