Siddle 8/54 (March 2015) too. I know you said out and out quick.

Seriously good to see from Jhye.

I would have thought Shaun Tait would have taken a similarly big haul around the same time? Can't remember for sure but Sloon was a serious gun in his first couple of Shield seasons, back when he could actually get through a fair amount of overs without being completely gassed.

Also I can't not mention Mark Cameron and his 11-52 game back in 2010
Tait took 8 but in a 50-over game

Yeah indeed, now that I actually double check it his best FC numbers were 7-29. Still was absolutely a sensational bowler at the time though.
He was great until he got picked to play for Australia. Ultimate domestic bowler though where most of the batsmen aren't good enough to keep out his jaffas.

I honestly have no idea how Bell gets any wickets when the ball isn't moving. He's a solid medium pace trundler.

There's a few going around but the lack in quality of our batting stocks at the moment means the trundlers have records that look like superstars in the making.

Oh my god that is the classic Joe Burns dismissal with the complete loss of shape and the back leg kicking out like a mule

He was great in limited-overs for Aus. Plenty of world-class batsmen couldn't keep out his jaffas either. Just didn't do it for long enough.

Haha it looked really bad didn't it. I guess you can forgive a bloke getting out on 96 against the Aus A bowling attack when he gets out but it looked pretty awful.

That was a gorgeous ball that got Cooper. Although Sanga's dismissal has been the best so far.

Dermo Abbott's cracking summer continues, picking up the prized scalp of fellow test allrounder aspirant Marcus Stoinis as WA reels at 4/78.

The unlucky Wil Bosisto will probably now have to wait until the second test for a call up, having been dismissed for only one.
