Remember end of Donalds career. He was definitely on his last legs at 36 but that was probably because he bowled thousands more balls for Warwickshire and Free State than what Steyn has done at similar ages. Guys just don't play as much domestic cricket now as they did then.

But yeah, pretty remarkable the speeds Dale is still getting to. Saw it in MSL and Australia ODIs.

Wasim Akram was bowling in low 140s sometimes in 2003 World Cup, he was 36 at that time.

Lee was a bit quicker than Steyn at the end of his career, despite slowing a fair bit. Steyn is probably quicker now than he's been for most of the decade, which is pretty remarkable.
