Athlai you ****.

CDG looking like a walking wicket. And there he goes. And why the **** are you reviewing that?

Moss

International Captain
Well that was predictable. CdG better keep putting in performances with the ball, doesn't seem able to buy a run on this tour.

Seriously, reviewing that is so utterly brainless. Watling could get a shocker now and that's pretty much game over. Abysmal.

I really thought the only reason he could be reviewing that was that he'd edged it - but he missed it by miles, what an entirely brain dead review that we'll now probably regret losing.

All that remains is the inevitable LBW decision against Watling with an inside edge the side of Mt Rushmore.

You're never really in on this pitch it would seem. Hope NZ can keep up the discipline when they bowl, Pakistan stuck at it and found the opening.

I sometimes feel that the change to keeping a review on an umpire's call has led to batsmen being more reckless with them and reviewing a lot of absolutely stone dead LBWs. Even a lot of Shane Watson's were just clipping.

Yeah the funny thing about Watson being an awful referrer is that in the current climate (i.e. since umpire's call means review retained) he wouldn't have been as much, a lot of his did come up umpire's call from memory. He just got out LBW a lot.

I guess it's a reminder that this pitch is not in fact easy to bat on - to stay in you need very good defense and very good concentration like Watling and Nicholls.

This score still gives NZ a chance, albeit much less than the desired target of 200-220.

watch as sodhi deals exclusively in filth next innings
His bowling will be very important - first innings he bowled too slow, loopy and full - the pitch is taking turn and he could get it do a lot more work for him by bowling slightly quicker and flatter. While you're always worried about your leggy bowling half trackers and full tosses, most of the runs from Sodhi were from half volleys that the batsman could drive safely.

Nice 6 Sodhi.
