*Official* England Tour of Sri Lanka 2018

Stokes is wildly inconsistent and gets over hyped every time he does something. England win the toss again, test cricket is becoming wildly predictable. Hope they change it soon so they have a toss every odd game and let the other team decide in between. All these toss wins are carrying England atm, Root’s luck won’t last forever. Looking forward to him having a toss losing streak in the Ashes and looking forward to seeing the look on Adders’ inflated head when it happens.

I do not want to jinx England but this could be the best away performance from a team since England 2012 India tour

That honor belongs to SA winning in Australia a couple of years back.

It is certainly our best since then whatever happens from here on in.

Think we are helped by Sri Lanka being as weak as they have been since before Murali came along too.

if we are looking for purely away result then nothing better then India domination of SL in SL last year but I am mainly looking at a SENA side result in Asia and vice versa

True x 2.

This one's going to be close, isn't it. I can easily see England struggling on this pitch in their 2nd innings, so a decent lead would be helpful.

I wonder if the lower order batting could make a difference in this game.....

Been a good match from what I've been able to see. Good test cricket.

Still got Dilruwan to come, so a Sri Lanka 50+ run lead isn’t out of the question. Dickwella’s living on the edge but got Root and co. sweating.

If he hits that, he gets one run, possibly no run, so what’s the point? Field is spread and he can knock Root around anyway.

"Why does Dickwella have such a meh record in all forms of cricket at all professional levels if he looks so competent?"

This. This is why.
