Holy hell, just noticed how long the Saffer tail was today. Steyn at 8 is ****ing madness.

It's been that way for a while now, so looks like it's the current preferred line-up. It is a bit of a gamble as if the batsmen don't come off then there'll be problems, as was shown today, but it does allow them to field a bowling lineup of Steyn, Rabada, Ngidi, and Tahir, so they're putting faith in that bowling attack to have the opposition on the back foot, which to be fair will probably happen more often than not.

Haha yeah this seems to actually be their more bat-heavy option. In the first ODI they had the same bottom four with an even worse #7.

Every time South Africa tour I realise that I prefer them touring than any other nation. Whether it's tests or ODIs they always provide the most entertaining cricket.

I've learnt absolutely nothing in these two matches as an SA fan. We have a great bowling attack, and a batting lineup that looks below par without JP and Hash. I think both these teams will rely on their bowlers come the world cup, and why not when you have the guns they do.

Recently they lost a match against SL too.
They lost the last 2 matched of the 5 match ODI series in SL

They won it 3-2.

Anyway SA is not the strongest of the ODI sides.

IMO, England and India are the best teams, while NZ,PAK,SA are inseparable coming afterwards. They are in the second tier.

I wonder if either of the 'Canes bats Short and McDermott plays today. I think one of them will come in for TravHead.

Reeza Hendricks at his best there punching off the back foot on off side.

Defensively looks uncomfortable though.
