Not the first time Munro's been done in by the slower ball this series. Is it usually an issue for him?

So Young then? He was the only one who did more than nothing.
They've already given Young a chance on this telecast. Got half-forward onto his front toe to a length that warranted an even greater move forward, which was fine, but Taj Wali skittled him anyway. :p

Was trying to work out the logic in it too.
Well the other opener who played the A series got three ducks in three games. Worker scored infinitely more runs. ;)

He absolutely deserved the chance based on consecutively great domestic seasons (in the top two runs scorers of the 50 over comp three seasons running), a fairly long career of being a good List A cricketer and a reasonable start to his ODI career in the other games he'd got. Leaving him out based on three bad games would've been particularly short sighted IMO, especially given the only batsman who didn't suck isn't a natural opener and would probably get more out of pushing for his more realistic Test claims in the four-day A game than playing this game given he'd be nowhere near WC contention.

I don't really have a lot of faith in him and he had a shocker here but I don't think it was a bad call selecting him.

There was always that sneaky recent List A record for Raval, Cribb. :p

Scored slowly today, but Taylor's hit such a rich vein of form in the last 3 or so years since his eye surgery, WAG.

And Latham's surely one of the best around the world right now against spin.

He does go slow in the middle-overs and more than makes up in the end - that's typical Ross Taylor way of building a ODI inning.

Um, even by our middle order standards, a collapse of 2-4 in 8 balls takes quite some doing.

What is it with NZ and crazy collapses against Pak

Given Moeen and Rashid were a constant problem last summer I guess it isn't surprising. Doesn't bode well for the tests though, Nicholls and CdG folding like that.

Yep this is quite poor. Ruining the advantage.

Ramiz and Morrison is a special kind of torture.
