I'm quite relieved that Lillee made it into the top ten; was getting a bit apprehensive with all the talk about his being a favourable track bully.

It isn't. Schultz, Bishop, Proctor would be a formidable attack. Can't think of a fitting spinner for some reason.
I'd possibly take that attack above any other if they all played to full potential.

Spinners don't tend to get injuries. Mendis (deciphered) or O'Reilly (WWII) are fair shouts

This has been even more enjoyable once the chaff had been separated.

Side note:
Is Waqar the Ponting on fast bowling?

I think Hooper, boje, Shastri, emburey, Giffen, Harris played for the number 1 ranked team in the world at some point in their careers.

In another thread I claimed that Imran is the Ponting of fast bowling.

Perhaps Pakistan bowlers are the Pontings of fast bowling?

Nah, not Imran. Ponting didn't have the equivalent of the uninspired trundler phase.
He did, in the late 90s. I think he was even commentating for star sports at that time. I cba looking it up again but check his record between 1999 and 2001

Ponting was Wasim. Solid start for a few years, amazing long patch for a number of years and a decline into mediocrity.

Hussey was Waqar, just with a shorter career. Amazing start of a few years, fell off a cliff and picked it up again to finish with a great overall record.

I mean he never had that transformation that Imran, Hadlee or Anderson did. Ponting was always a naturally gifted batsman. Rose through junior and state levels quickly and all. The foundation was always there.

Ponting hit the higher highs but hey, there's never going to be 2 exactly similar cases.

Lol Ngam seriously?
good for one series then broke down. Was an exciting prospect. Schultz was good for two and a half, and then broke down. Elworthy for about a half a series I guess.

Big Mac, Mathews and PS de Villiers were much more consistent, latter was very very good at times. It was not like Wasim and Waqar and trash after that, Ambrose and Walsh and then trash. They were better than that.
