So on the Hilton Cartwright Bowled Watch (1) Sweepstakes we have the initial contenders.

TJB/Big Bambino - 20 (22)
Spikey - 10
NUFAN - 9
Burgey - 8
Gnske - 7
Starfighter - 6
Dan - 5
stephen - 4
PEWS - 3

Can't tell if PEWS' lack of faith is insulting or optimistic.

Man Bell is all over McSweeney here.

Credit to Sweens though, making the best out of a bad situation.

NSW need some Dermo Abbott here. Partnership building after a couple of good poles early.

So Pucovski's 243 is the 3rd highest score in Aussie history by an under 21 batsman. Only Walter's 253 and Bradman's 340 are higher

I hope Inglis and Philippe don't just throw their bats until they get out for spunky 60s.

Match awareness lads.

I'm not well versed in the Aussie domestic scene but is Joe Mennie as good as his numbers suggest? I imagine he is, however if I'm remembering right he didn't too well in the Championship this year either
Mennie has been one of the most succesful bowlers in shield cricket the last few years and deserved being picked in the test side.

He was thrown out with the bathwater after the test loss in Hobart, like Ferguson, after that one test.( unlike some people who are given a few games to prove themselves)

He performed creditably in the county season picking 28 or so wickets at around 23 or so

He doesnt run through teams and is not a140+ bowler but given opportunity could be a dependable first change in the test team.

Together with Sayers and Worrall, they have been only behind Boland Tremain and Hastings as the best pace attack in the shield for the last 5 years.

Jake Lehmann fails to convert again.

The only batsman who realise a call up is on the cards seems to be Pukovski.

Only just saw the highlights of Queensland's top order getting bowled yesterday and jfc you guys weren't kidding. If an under-12 c grade team had defensive techniques that bad I'd be having words with the coach. Wtf.

Fallins was a nightwatchman. #Bertmentum hard done by imo.

But seriously, how has Solway never grabbed an FC gig?

You'll never guess how Truloff just got out.
Almost a dead set repeat of his first innings dismissal. Bat comes in from third slip and ends up pointed towards mid on while playing a ball that's angling/seaming in from outside off.

He's no Nick Stevens
