Now the question is, how long will Australia's innings take? And how long until Khawaja gets out to Shah?

What an idiotic time to schedule a series.

The wicket seems awfully flat. Not sure if 482 is enough for this pancake

At 4/400 and one of the wickets a nightwatchman, youd have to be pretty happy to get Pakistan all out for 482.

I dont know what to expect with Arun Finch, hopefully his international experience calms him down.

I was almost okay with the idea of Finch batting five or so given three blokes were suspended, but him opening just really annoys me. He failed as an opener for Victoria and only made runs when they gave up on him batting top 3 and slipped him in to downhill ski. It's just as easy to open as it is to bat five in the UAE, if not usually even easier, but I can't help but feel it'll set up a long frustrating run in the side if he does well here. I don't even necessarily think he'll fail, but that's what makes it ugh.

I'm surprised Warne never kicked on as a batsman.
What was happening which made you say this? I never rated the trajectory of his bat when meeting ball. I felt he played around his pads.

Overall day 2 was good. Siddle was so tight in the morning and Labuschagne bowling and run out provided the x factor. Hopefully he comes out on day 4 (not 3) and piles on the runs.

I thought Usman looked a little different againt spin. Without looking at past performances i couldnt identify the difference, but still.. It was positive.

Labushagne took a wicket and I suggested that with this sort of start as a spinner he would inevitably become the best batsman in the world in five years a la TPC.

Have to hand it to noofers I don't know what the odds were for the Vegan to be the leading wicket taker

I'd have taken that after they were 0/200. Nice to see Finch actually hit the stumps, seems to be rare with our fielding these days.
