Yeah - temporarily gifted back - after being the highest ranked ODI Associate leading into CWCQ, and being third in WCLC after a three year round robin league.... six matches later - sorry, we'll be taking that back from you! <sigh>

It's nice but doesn't really help us get our funding back.

I do hope the TV and Media exposure gets us some decent sponsorship opportunities, and maybe the higher ups at CHK can take this accomplishment and use it to convince HKSI to starting funding us again.

I can give you a quick answer to the likelihood of that. As long as the sport is not in the Olympics - we could win the Asia Cup and it will only contribute towards points for Tier B sports - ie not a lot of funding. From HK$3.8m in total to under HK$1m like....that.
