What a bizarre end to the series.

1st test: competed very well, should have won it, lost key moments and lost the test
2nd test: thoroughly outplayed
3rd test: competed, could have won it, lost key moments and lost the test
4th test: won it, but should have won with more convinction all things considered
5th test: got ripped apart

4-1 is very, very flattering to England, but at the same time, you can't say it isn't unflattering to India despite the above.

This isn't like England in India where they were pretty much outplayed in every single session. It's been very tight at times. But the scorecard will read 4-1 England.
