Who's whinging, someone who thinks toss didn't make a difference at Lords or me who's countering the argument that (only) Kohli's been incredibly lucky? BTW you still did win 4 tosses in India, so stop with your made up stories.
who precisely is "you"

Right & that's when I explained how 4 (or 5) tosses won in a row makes a difference to the outcome of the series. Not all tosses are unimportant but neither is every toss 50/50 - you're either being too thick or deliberately obtuse.
No, you're trying to make too much of something.

England, since I'm talking about England winning 4 tosses here & losing in India (4-nil) with 4 tosses. If we're talking about Aus (Starfighter?) then they have an even more unenviable record, won 9 out of 10 tosses - lost 8 tests & won just the one. BTW I clarified exactly what I meant in the last post on the last page.

and how is this relevant to everything other than low-rent projected nationalism

How about you go back to Starfighter's post going off a tangent, when I simply remarked that Root has also been lucky? Cheap nationalism huh!

Just saw the footage for the first review and the third umpire has just got that wrong. As people have already said, he completely forgot to consider the fact the noise was bat on pad.

Wonder if Rashid will get a spell soon or if Root is just holding him back for the tail.

We can ill afford some loose and expensive overs but the 50 partnership is creeping up

First many many overs by Ashwin and then more by Moeen Ali. I'm not particulary fond of watching ATVGs in action.
Now that I've said it, Moeen will probably strike, immediately.

India will lose this, certainly. Still and all, making them sweat for a while and get hot under their collars is good for their souls.

One wicket will bring 2 or 3 in this track. We will be in this only until this partnership lasts.
