That was probably when he had that good tour of the WI in 2011, which was when the "Is Ishant Sharma as good as Stuart Broad" threads started popping up.

Even Praveen Kumar did well in that WI series.

Funny thing is if you said that now it wouldn't look all that ridiculous on current form. Broad has really declined IMO.

Thorpe and Gooch have already had stints, Gower does commentary, Boycott is too old.
