All you can use is your body and the dirt around you. Mints and the like will be a bit of a grey area - you're allowed to have them on your mouth while on the field, but using the saliva generate by them shouldn't be allowed. However if no one catches you doing it...

I mean you could make it a law anyways - there already is a law that foreign objects need to be cleared from the field before start of play IIRC. If there are bottle caps lying around then that's the umpire's fault.

I'd be impressed if you actually knew what the current laws/sanctions under the ICC Playing Conditions for ball tampering are, and what the proposed revisions to them state.
