He isn't allowed to pick from Knott as he missed his turn and so Knott isn't part of the chain.

However, if he had picked when he was originally meant to then he would then have been able to pick from 'somebody he chose'

He chose Weekes based off of Knott, he should have chosen him based off of Kanhai otherwise it undermines my selection

You're still not getting it. There is nothing to preclude somebody picking a player based of another player they have chosen, as long as it does so legitimately.

The issue here isn't that weldone is picking from a player that he previously selected; the issue is that weldone is picking from a player that isn't involved in the chain.

There could conceivably be a situation whereby somebody has the last pick in one round and then the first pick in another i.e. they'd make their second selection based on the first.

The picks of Weekes and Harvey are invalid because of what was mentioned above.

True, but Weldone had one selection second from last that he skipped (timed out on) and then happily came online and selected from his own selection. It’s a glaring fault in the rules, allowable but not in the spirit of fun.

His selection was based off of Allan Knott who he selected after timing out and after my selection, so that’s exactly what he did

At this point weldone timed out and you picked Atkinson, so now the chain is: Laker - Kanhai - Atkinson.

Weldone had to make his missed pick from the same point that you picked Atkinson (the Laker-Kanhai chain) and he picked Alan Knott. This pick does not affect you in anyway or the chain in anyway.

I don't really know what you're complaining about but that's at least in part because neither do you.

Read the ****ing thread man. The Weekes pick was invalid - he had to choose based off Kanhai - Atkinson, which can't be done, hence the Vincent-Langer thread to restart. Jeez.
