rate him quite highly as a test prospect. In England one thing noticeable was he knew his off stump could be a main stay in the test batting line up. Not so sure off him in ODI's but maybe Fakhar needs a stable partner like him. The other options are Azhar,Hafeez and Shehzad so yes i will keep him for the time being in odi's aswell

Don't think Hafeez is coming back as an opener. So Azhar, Imam and Fakhar would be the openers for the World Cup. One thing they would never try but I would love to see is to try Haris as opener in ODIs

Fakhar's scored 510 runs at an average of 257.5 in this series.

Still somehow fell short of Kohli's 558 in 6 games against SA.

The real full strength Zimbabwe team beat Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka last year in an ODI series, and almost won the Test match (were it not for dodgy umpiring)

The last time Pakistan and Zimbabwe played, Pakistan won 2-1.

The problems in ZC cricket and Zimbabwe having to field a second string side should not take away from the actual development in Zimbabwe team.

This must be the most one-sided series ever. Good on the Pakistan players for beefing up their stats.

Yeah it's obviously nuts in hindsight but at the time it would've seemed perfectly sane. Probably should've tried to shorten the series once it became obvious the team was going to be like this though.
