On the bright side, at least they're not fielding. So they have a chance.Pakistan will find a way to lose this imo
Heard about one swallow not making a summer, well one finch doesn't make a batting orderdon't understand how australia lost, what with the batting depth and all-rounders and all
Yeah we all know what's really important in T20 cricket is for your #8 batsman to be able to play a long innings. What went wrong?don't understand how australia lost, what with the batting depth and all-rounders and all
Agar, Stonis & Wild Wildermuth faced 18 balls with the bat and bowled 26 balls. them bowling more balls than facing is both a) not ideal and b) an entirely likely scenario (I've excluded Maxwell, but obviously he only adds to that difference)Yeah we all know what's really important in T20 cricket is for your #8 batsman to be able to play a long innings. You don't necessarily need specialists. You need allrounders or specialists who can simply get the job done. Agar is making Santner look like Sobers right now. Better yet, Miller (but a spin version). the other annoying thing about them picking so many all-rounders is that it means one bad over can see you blacklisted. the 7 and 8 bowled 2 overs total! god. pick specialists!!!
I'm of the belief that your best bet is a traditional 6/1/4 batting lineup, with two of the batsmen being able to roll their arm over. You don't necessarily need specialists. Thoroughly agree. Some money baller out there will win an ipl with a cheap team one year because they stack the bowling instead of the batting. You always need at least 5 bowlers but you rarely need more than 5 batsmen - a bowler who can swing a bit will usually do below number 6.Agar, Stonis & Wild Wildermuth faced 18 balls with the bat and bowled 26 balls. them bowling more balls than facing is both a) not ideal and b) an entirely likely scenario (I've excluded Maxwell, but obviously he only adds to that difference)

I'm from the Sanga and now Morgan school of the best bet being to pick the best team knowing that 20 overs may have to be bowled, and 20 overs may have to be batted, and that dictates the formation of it - not predefined traditional roles.I'm of the belief that your best bet is a traditional 6/1/4 batting lineup, with two of the batsmen being able to roll their arm over.
