*Official* Bangladesh in the West Indies 2018

Been watching this session. The bowling has been very good. But I wouldn't call it unplayable. Don't think the Bangla boys have the best technique against any sort of seam/swing. On paper this is probably the best 1-7 they have unless you want to through Mossadek or Nasir in there.

If Holder just braced that front leg a little more i reckon he would put on about 10-15 kph. Probably too late for that now though.

I just don't understand how they can keep bowling no balls like this

It's just criminal really

The Windies in the 80s used to do it quite a lot too, Holding excepted. They just created another chance within an over or so.

Good to see Holder getting some wickets at home. His away record as a bowler is still dreadful.

But his home record with the bat and ball is becoming very very useful. Close to 40 with the bat, and a smidge over 27 with the ball at the time of writing.

What is the lowest aggregate total in a test when a team is bowled out in both innings? I'm guessing Bangladesh would have easily made that record if WI's main quick was not injured.

I'd say that Tamim Iqbal is the rightful heir to the captaincy.

Shakib is one of BD's worst test skippers (And overall, they don't have a stellar test record )

Pity. I actually enjoy seeing this kind of misery on pitch. Reminds you its not always a batsman's game.
It is not very enjoyable when your team is at the receiving end, if it looks like a batsman's game when the other team is batting.

Shakib just DGAF anymore

He's still heads and shoulders the best cricketer in the team, but he seems to have really checked out mentally in the last couple of years. Doesn't seem to care as much as he used to. Kinda indifferent to results and performances, just satisfied playing his game and raising himself up for winnable moments. Not interested in digging deep and turning around a train wreck and leaving it all out there on the field every single session.

Atleast Mushy GAF, even if that meant some horrible panicked decision making from time to time.

Tamim is a good shout. Did a good job when he filled in for Mushy too. Idk why they went back to Shakib for this tour.
