Yeah, he wasn't executing that shot very well today, but it was definitely on in the situation.

I agree, shot selection ok... just couldn’t execute it. 30 off 20 is reasonable that’s for sure. 150 SR. I’m happy with the innings he played overall.

Yeah, I think it becomes a slog fest if you’re no wickets down after 4.5 or 1 wicket down from 8. Buttler is batting like an out and out slogger . Still I like all the formats as they are all different and ask different questions of the batsmen and bowlers.

Hales looks very lost, he’s better when he just slogs. Very poor start from him. Because really that’s all he is, a slogger. An effective one though

Buttler’s batting is laughable today. Some of the shots in his locker are beyond silly

India are actually bowing excellently at Buttler in particular . Have to give them credit for restricting us to just 76-1 off 9.4 so far

Gone. Crap innings. Worst I’ve ever seen him bat, hopeless innings. That will get him dropped it was that bad. Stokes will replace him.
