They keep being disappointing in global tournaments, and superb in between. Hopefully they might finally change that at this year's World T20.

But, to be fair, England were even more impressive in their first game.

England got 34 more than NZ. It makes me wonder the boundaries to be honest considering the number of sixes hit. However, SA didn't get many at all in reply both games so maybe they were just the length they normally are. SA especially struggled against England with bat and ball. Looks like everything basically came together perfectly for England. Even Brunt got 42 off 16

England impressive again, but I was disappointed with NZ's all-round performance. Loose bowling and dropped catches probably gave them an extra 20-30 runs, and then we panicked after a couple of early wickets and were never in the chase from there.

Ferns are going to have to pull off something special to be competitive in the final. They've had no trouble with South Africa, but England's easily had their measure both times. Bit disappointing from our lot.

England too good again. I thought we were looking pretty good at 55-0 inside the first six overs, but 137-9 was never going to be enough against their line-up.

England's women's team is just next level at this point really. They have their roles and gel well together.

I think a few of England's bowlers would be decent in the men's game at a high level. I think we need to be honest about it and recognise some of them are actually very good. The batters at times lack power and depth, also they would be found out completely by raw pace I'd imagine. But some of the bowlers are actually excellent and proven by completely stifling NZ amongst other things

It is certainly an interesting thought, wondering how some of the better female cricketers would fare. Here in Adelaide I have seen Amanda-Jade Wellington bowl a few times firsthand, and I genuinely think she is better than a few mens first grade spinners over here

That young read-headed lady you've got over there bowls some decent leggies too, Pope or whatever her name is

Good one you bellend

In all seriousness though, Lloyd Pope has all the attributes to be a seriously world class leggie, still a bit raw but I honestly think he has the talent to achieve much more than Zampa ever will.

I just had a look through the scorecards in the Women's World T20 Qualifier, and there were some excellent games - a shame I wasn't able to watch any of it.

SA picked some exciting new caps in Robyn Searle & Saarah Smith. Two young batters. Also got another highly regarded batter Faye Tunnicliffe training with them. All 19-21 age bracket. Bowler Tumi Sekhukhune also in squad for first time from emerging squad.

Womens cricket with more investment and better scheduling seems to be growing in interest for young girls in SA. So many opportunities.

Was impressed with Perry's captaincy from what I saw in the WBBL, except perhaps underbowling herself somewhat. Then again that Sixers team was absolutely stacked with quality international cricketers

Today looks like another pounding dished out by Australia.

This is an even more dominant Australian team than the men's team of the early 00s.
