Hard to say for sure, but it stank the place out. You don't have to be a huge fan of the Spanish to recognise they were systematically cheated over that decision.

I just have respect for them. They weren't a dirty team, just an extremely limited one who play well to their strengths. Wouldn't be hoping against hope for them to miss every penalty.

Meh, they had an easy group and played boring football. 1 shot on goal for 120 mins and it was a penalty. Idk much about football at all but they looked like a pretty awful team.

I know this sport is probably the hardest to separate from politics, but keeping it completely related to football Russia are giant underdogs. Big population yes but still lowest ranked team in the cup

Iceland aren't particularly talented and they still have moments in their games when they try and play. Russia just refused to attempt anything. Whatever, I do agree Spain aren't exaclty fantastic to watch either so fair enough.
