Belgium set to be the first new European super power for quite a while. Cool to see a little change to the status quo

A reminder to those who slagged Lukaku at United, give him proper service and he will thrive.

Yeah I know but I feel all these blokes were just too young four years ago. Definitely was always going to take a while

Could very well happen. With Jerry losing to Mexico they look likely to qualify as group runners up, which means they could face Brazil in the second round.

If Belgium top "G" (as their goal difference makes probable now, unless England beat them) & defeat the runner up from "H", they'll face the winner of Brazil/Jerry in the last eight.

Belgium, Croatia, Mexico all impressing early and haven't won it before, so get some feel-good attention before losing to Brazil or Germany in the knockout.

Looking at the team on BBC site I am surprised that Alli is even on the bench, unless that a mistake I don't see the point given his injury.

Can someone explain the bench for me. After the last Australia game it seemed there were more bench guys than guys who got on the field. And is there a limit to substitutions? I thought I heard something like that is the third and last blaa blaa blaa.
