I'm not watching this but has Vic prepared a typical chester-le surface for you chaps or a flat wicket?
It is a fairly flat wicket; but not as flat as the ones for the first two games. This Cow is going to get a nasty surprise when England (try to) bat.

Glad they finally got around to picking Finch at the top again. The selectors seem like they fool themselves into thinking he's in such good nick as an opener, they can bat him anywhere. Using a form guy like that to shore up weaknesses elsewhere, well, we've seen the results. It's kinda simple, he's plunders when he's opening and doesn't when batted elsewhere so, uhh, keep him opening I reckon.

Two specialist number 7's in the top-6 tho.

One of them isn't even a specialist 7

I think we probably get 320-330 at this point. Against anyone other than England I'd be confident of victory...will be an interesting chase regardless.

That's right. They got another thirteen more overs to make those seventy runs and get to 278; which, as I had informed you earlier, is a winning score.
No, mouth!

They're 70 short after 35 overs.

Don't make me come to India
