Yes, this came to my mind too: 3rd QF (D/N), Wills International Cup at Dhaka, Oct 28 1998 | Match Summary | ESPNCricinfoViv Richards - 119 and 5 wickets vs NZ
Sachin - 141 and 4 wickets vs Aus
Hard to top this one.Aravinda's unbeaten century, 3 wkts, 2 catches in WC final '96
That match wasn't particularly crucial - if India had lost it, they would still have reached the semis with a win against Australia (which I think they needed anyway, because of run rates), so the only effect it could have had on the tournament would have been if it had shattered India's confidence.175, 1-32 and a catch. I don't need to say anything about his batting, India had lost 7 wickets for 78 before Kapil lifted the score to 266. Also, he was the most economical bowler of the match.
Without this performance, cricket wouldn't have got as popular as it is right now in India and BCCI wouldn't have made ICC their bee-yatch.
Nah, as highlighted above some ATG All round performances won't meet that criteriaI think we can just change the title of this thread to
'50+ and 5 wickets in a game'

Andy Bichel in the 2003 WC vs England - 7/20 and 34* chasing 205
37th Match, ICC World Cup at Port Elizabeth, Mar 2 2003 | Match Summary | ESPNCricinfo
Doing what he always did. Exactly what was necessary to win the game. If Bichel was scoring a bit slower, Bevan would have just scored a few more. What was Bevean doing, waiting for Bichel to get out?
