My literary knowledge?

Nah I'm just not all that fond of an alleged lawyer of 25 years (I am yet to be convinced that you are indeed a lawyer in any country or ever have been) correcting my use of a word contained in reputable dictionaries with one that has the exact synonymous meaning and includes my chosen word in its definition of such aforesaid dictionaries.
Everyone knows Burgey is an internet troll living in his mom's basement in Tazmania (the Chennai of Australia) or something

It's not like you can google his name and find out who he is or anything

Woah, making some strong accusations there big shot.

He’s right. It’s all a ruse.

My 25th anniversary of admission isn’t until 2 July.
You know what they call the person who graduates med school last?

Doctor.

Appealing to authority on a forum isn't what I typically expect of the learned.

But anyway, tell me more about the last 25 years of using the word acuity instead of acuteness.

Mr Miyagi is remarkable in his ability to use a great deal of words and still say pretty much nothing. That takes talent.

Oh let me clarify, I am inquiring how his allegedly being a lawyer for 25 years in Australia has got anything to do with the fact that "acuteness" used as against "acuity" is an acceptable word choice in the English language.

First day was 5 July 93. Turned up to work at 8:30 am. Shown to my office and pleasantly surprised to find I had a good view.

Was given a few files to look through. They were relatively small matters but they were fraud cases so there was a certain forensic interest in them.

One of the first cases was a claim by a fellow who said his injury had caused him severe detumescence, a condition I have been reminded of since your arrival on the forum.

Well as glad as I am to have that sort of effect on you, you don't strike me as my type.

But tell me more about acuity and acuteness in your past 25 years. Which was the question I asked you. You're the one who has brought your past 25 years into this. Tell me why its relevant and should persuade me.

To you - it seems important, I couldn't care if you were a beggar for the past 25 years.

Day two I went to court for the first time since admission. Only a call over but very nervous.

Got back to the office and was shown around the other floors and met the staff of the firm, including a lot of the secretarial staff.

Immediately regretted being engaged to be married.

No use of acuteness or acuity in this post at all.

Burgey, I really am not all that interested in your career memoirs, whether they be works of fiction or non-fiction. No offence.

You seem to be under the impression that I have not encountered dumb ass judges or silks or partners (and barristers) with more than 25 years actual and real law experience.

I'll cut to the chase. I have. So your walks down memory lane either real or imaginary just do not impress me much.
