From memory

- India wins the first with the infamous Misbah scoop
- 2nd goes to England when Mal Loye or was it Lumb played
- 3rd ???
- 4th Sri Lanka when Yuvraj played the worst t20 knock in the short history of the game
- 5th Ben Chokes

Have there been more?
I like how you've completely forgotten the one Pakistan won in England (think it was in 2009).

I have never watched one but bits of the last one, but I do have a dvd of Collingwood's win (2010?) which I have watched once.

Greatest t20 knock ever.

World t20>ODI world cup. 2015 was a largely meh tournament with a handful of epic games.
Nah the only crap world cup lately was the 2011 one. Can't give you a reason it just was imo.

1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015 were all very enjoyable. 1987 wasn't half bad either.

I struggle a bit with the world cups in all honesty. Some of them were before my time that I have re-watched through highlights, but here is my current state of knowledge,

1975: WI, Viv's fielding.
1979: WI again
1983: India. Dev.
1987: Lot of mullets in this edition.
1991: Garish over-sized silver jerseys for all combatants which were really quite hideous but everyone now likes because of the nostalgia factor. Imran's Tigers.
1996: Nope
1999: England being booted out in the groups? Nope.
2003: Nope
2007: Nope
2011: Dim memory of the Irish beating England?
2015: McCullum's men getting to the final with their attacking cricket only to be beaten by evil itself. England stinking out the competition as per usual.

I do not think a ''world cup'' works as well with cricket like it does with Football and Rugger Union. Maybe we need a ''100 World Cup''?

The third one had that Hussey vs Ajmal game, right?

The limited overs formats (50 overs per innings etc.), which are generally played on roads, is the least interesting form of the game.
T20, where the wickets tend to be more sporting, provides a more even contest between bat and ball.
