Its tough one with Bale, still a beast, but the injury record is a massive concern. Klopp still has won nothing with Liverpool, for all the flair and hype that's not great.

To be fair, they are waaaaay better than when he took over. But yeah, that doesn't count for all that much at the end of the day I guess, given it hasn't really as yet translated into any tangible success.

On the contrary though, Zidane probably one of the great contemporary coaches. Has organisation and tactics down pat. Great sub to bring on Bale when he did as well.

Oh yeah he has done pretty well for them. They still have plenty of Coutinho money so next season it will be interesting to see how they do in England and Europe. I think its time for them to win something or at least challenge City for the premier league.

A new annoying commentary phrase used a few times by the peons on BT Sport today.

"You just can't legislate for shots like that".

The **** does that even mean?!

They will be great until the inevitable Klopp-team burnout experienced about 2 months before the end of the season, would be my predicition.

Was uncomfortable watching no one from the liverpool squad go to Karius and try to console him, or if it happened I mustve missed it.

They will have the Salah money too this summer.

Bet they sell him.

Knew after the Salah injury we'd have trouble. Ramos is a dirty cheat, plan and simple.

Karius was obviously horrific but for me Henderson is killing this team. You look at Madrid and how their midfielders moved and turned under pressure and this **** passed the ball to the CBs and the keeper more than the players in front of him. What a gutless player. I honestly think the real reason Can is leaving is because he knows Henderson is immovable otherwise he is the one who should be playing there.

Real Madrid had a lot of quality but they got everything to go for them this game, disappointing how we lost ultimately.

Yeah, including being good.

Anyway, I thought Jordan Henderson was your boy? You were the one who crowed about him being the great "recycler of possession" iirc. How the mighty have fallen.

Gary Lineker and Rio Ferdinand absolutely gushing ad nauseum about Bale's second goal whilst Steven Gerrard sits there silently looking miserable

This is like the 3rd time you've brought this up and the time I didn't mind him playing like that was when he was a shuttler in midfield and was basically box-to-box. At the base of midfield he has to playmake, and he is useless at it. At the same time, he doesn't have the legs anymore to put in the shift he needs to further up.

He's still better than Wilshire

Great use of football management speak here.

"Shuttler", "box-to-box", "base of midfield", "playmake", "shift".

Brenda Rogers would love you.

Even better was Lampard talking about how Liverpool had worked hard all year only to have a huge mistake cost them the trophy, and Gerrard sat there staring into the distance no doubt having Demba Ba flashbacks.

Yeah, imagine if I used Italian names for some positions...your panties would really be tightening up.
