It's this weak Australian mentality that leads to your players resorting to ball tampering.

Plus I thought a dislike for standing was only a Kiwi thing
We are a country of great innovators. If there's a way to make something easier and is less work then we'll do it. eg. Ball not reverse-swinging? ABdV not getting out? Got a fix for that fellas.

and no, the innovations usually don't work

They haven’t worked ever since Turnbull said he wanted us to be agile and innovative. No surprise there. He’s as big a disappointment as a HK 7/11 Peking Duck pancake.

You seriously either do not know the origins of Australia being called the "lucky country" or disagree with it then.

I mean you no offence at all, but in all seriousness, and with all respect so as to not cause offence, noone knows Australia for innovations; eskis and rotary clotheslines. End of.

Look up the origins of Australia as the lucky country. You may see what the global perception is. No offence.

Burgey's on exactly 56,000 posts

In order to preserve this incredible moment, I suggest he stop posting for the rest of time.

It's the only appropriate way to celebrate it.

56,001 and it's as much as a disappointment as I thought it would be

I think we can all agree that both of the contests in the amended thread title have led to thumping victories for the Anglo and Antipodean protagonists respectively.

I appreciate your care in not offending me though. One less assertion on your behalf of not meaning to cause offense and I would have lost it.

Typical think skinned Aussies getting all defensive when called out on their weak jokes

No wonder you lot were so fond of HB.
