what was the go with rayudu bagging down the order? i know faf got them over the line but he’s been gunning it opening with watson

I'm going to venture out on a limb here and suggest that maybe KW thought Braithwaite being an intl bowler who often bowls good yorkers (at least when playing NZ) was the better option after 2 overs for 11 than the domestic bowler Sandeep, who while having a great tournament, has gone for 15, 10 and 9 an over in his last 3 games and 3 overs for 30 this game.

Even Kaul went for 17 in the 19th over as against Braithwaite's 20 in the 18th.

If anything I would have liked to see BK bowl out, but I have no issue with Braithwaite bowling, I just think BK should have bowled the 19th or even 18th.

Now on the bright side, KW is in first place for most runs, and only Rayudu if he scores 80 in the final is a good chance of chasing him down. Assuming Kane scores no more runs, which he has 2 max games to, and bar injury or dropping for braindead captaincy, at least 1.

Well done Kane.

Carlos should not have bowled the 18th over whatsoever, Sandeep was the obvious call as he is the frontline bowler, then its Kumar bowling the 19th and Kaul bowling the 20th. Carlos bowling towards the end is absurd as the type of bowler you bowl in the middle overs and let the frontline bowlers handle the business end. Kane has a fine campaign, but he got it horribly wrong Yesterday.

Sandeep has bowled pies for 4 games in a row including that one.

Not obvious to me at 3 overs for 30 vs 2 overs for 11.

He shouldn't have bowled it because he shouldn't have even been playing. It's amazing how he's only ever done one good thing in T20s and still gets selected - bloke is a complete hack and a fraud.

Yeah - lets all ignore his batting that saved SRH from having no chance.

Braithwaite makes runs and fast - 3 overs for 31. Sandeep makes no runs and 3 overs for 30.

Seems legit.

Better bowler is better bowler, it doesn't matter how many runs Sandeep had given till then, when the pressure time comes one must trust the specialist.
