I don't know why they just ignored him last year when they gave Manish Pandey, Jadhav, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik etc. extended runs to prove themselves.. his record should have warranted him getting a few opportunities too.

They threw him out because he used to gum up the works big time; the strokeless wonder wouldn't score, wouldn't rotate the strike, and wouldn't get out.
Rayudu plodding to 75 was a prepaid ticket to the wrong end of a thrashing.

At his age, there is no future in persisting with him; put him out to pasture, I say.

Watto defo retired too early. Would still be one of Australia's best T20 players. Should make himself available for T20Is only IMO.

Pandey, Jadhav and Iyer deserved it (Jadhav for his bowling), but agree that Rayudu should've definitely gotten a chance ahead of Karthik.

Man, Yadav is so ****ing good right now. He is our one bowler who can go well in Australia as well if he keeps up.
