Why is that well done though? That's just meme-level swerving. The finish makes no logical sense in the bounds of the story they were telling. If anything, that's bad, not something to be praised.
Is there anyone even worthy of facing Brock at the moment? Who are the credible opponents left?

Samoa Joe/Strowman? Sort of. Not really. I'm sure they could pull the trigger on a few guys like Ambrose or Balor to beat Lesnar as well but really thats never going to happen and it'd be difficult to make it credible anyway.

Bryan?

I also have another issue with the Cody vs Omega match. Why didn't the Bucks just even it out after their **** up? Makes no sense that they'd just watch the aftermath happen.
Maybe they didn't want it to be a DQ since the ref then woke up?

Was still a bit dire. One of the weakest moments in the BTE storyline in one of the most pivotal places.

Ronda's match was the best. Hope they just use her as a fighter instead of restricting her to women's matches alone from now. Bring back the submission matches!

How good is it to see Steph's character get what's coming to her for once? Been a while. Was not a fan of her always going out on top even though she was a heel at past Wrestlemanias.

She has eaten **** at the last few wrestlemanias? Table bumps and everything.

Nah, in W30, she and HHH wailed on Bryan after he won. The rest I don't remember.
But that was part of the story of bryan getting injured and #OvercomingTheOdds and all that.

Whatever, I hope she just goes away. I find most of her segments close to unwatchable.

Credit where credit's due, Stephanie's selling and facial expressions (as well as her reputation) definitely helped Ronda get over tonight.

With the level of women they have there now, she probably shouldn't be wrestling at Wrestlemania though. Neither should Shane. God he's got some horrific punches.

The comeuppance at 30 was Bryan winning anyway.

At 31, Rousey threw her out of the ring.
At 32, she got speared by Roman.
At 33, HHH accidentally put her through a table.
At 34, her and her husband got beat up by Rousey.

Can’t speak for what happened in the years prior to 30, dunno what happened. I honestly don’t think the problem with Steph is her unwillingness to put people over. Overall WWE storylines have tended to be dire, and when she’s often relied on to be the big bad boss character, we just end up hating on her.

People also give her **** about the women’s revolution thingand taking front and centre, but I’ve heard so many podcasts of female wrestlers saying how much her and HHH petitioned behind the scenes for the changes that happened. The dreadful Women’s Revolution that Stephanie was trotting out there and repeat every night was almost certainly a Vince thing IMO.

Stephanie specifically isn’t terrible IMO. Tries hard in the ring, solid hand on the mic. Her character and it’s position in 95% of feuds? That’s what’s terrible.

Even the Heyman vs. Steph feud from the Smackdown/Raw era is a non-issue

In fairness to Shane, he usually does end up putting on a worthwhile performance due to his enormous balls. Tonight he looked totally and utterly out of his depth. Dunno if he’s still healing from his hernia thing or whatever but it was definitely much worse than Shane v Taker, Shane v Owens or Shane v Styles.

To be fair, putting over Daniel Bryan (huge reactions that could no longer be ignored), Roman Reigns (Roman Reigns), and Ronda Rousey (huge mainstream name) isn't worth that much credit. Those are things that should just happen. It doesn't make up for her constantly belittling the female talent on the roster week in, week out (for no apparent reason most of the time), as well as emasculating a lot of the male talent.

Don’t forget sweet ***y Rollins got a little rub too.

I was actually thinking the other day about what the pay off was to Mick Foleys run as GM. I can’t remember. Something about her actually being dishonest (surprise) and then... Angle is GM?

They should have pulled a Hitman/Austin finish at least with that much blood. Have Bork put him in a submission move and win.
