Yeah but that's actually kind of what I meant by "he deserves these". They were basically gifts but he deserved the wickets for his good bowling earlier.

He bowled decently earlier but nothing more than that, was what you'd expect a 4 seamer to be able to do. He looks a decent player to be fair, good option to have.

It's beyond absurd. Without doubt the most annoying thing about this home summer is that this is not a 3 Test series. A travesty, but no surprise. If NZC had it their way, we'd never play another Test match.

first half hour this morning where it was easy peasy for england could be another difference between the teams. take 30 off this score and england still have a fair bit of work to do to set the game up.

To be honest, NZ have more chance saving this game the longer England bat here. I think the best thing that could have happened to England is that they were bowled out with a lead of about 350, and hence the declaration taken out of their hands.

I still think they'll have enough time to bowl us out in 4 sessions, but the longer they go here, the likelihood of their victory decreases somewhat.
