***Official*** England in New Zealand 2018

Not Terrible
England should feel at home here. Hagley has such a nice traditional English village feel about it.

Hate to say, but have a feeling England will bounce back and win this Test quite comfortably.
Is this like how England won the odi series more than the actual result?

Looking forward to this next match between the New Zealand 'All Round Good Guys' Black Caps and the England 'Also pretty decent bunch of blokes' cricket teams.

Need some sledging to get this match started - I'll go first:
England, our Spirit of Cricket trophy cabinet is bigger than yours. Take that.

while australia were getting slaughtered for ball tampering trent boult was bowling short to root, inviting root to have *** with himself, then telling his team mates not to help root when he hit root on the gloves.

i will never get bored of the rest of the world staring straight at the NZ wolf and seeing a cuddly teddy bear. how far can we push this?

oh that Jimmy Anderson, just one slightly rotten apple, I'm sure it's not indicative of anything

look, here's a picture of Joe Root's face. What a nice guy

though not as nice as Kaneh ofc #niceSledges

Surprised we're bowling, is this not going to be a typical NZ pretend-green-seamer?

Though I know the logic would be that, even if the movement dies off after fifteen overs, that's still fiftenn overs more than you get for the rest of the match when it will be just flat.

Flat is Wagner's playground.

Wood in a 4 man attack and a tail that starts at 8? ****s sake that’s a total garbage selection.
we very much share the same opinion on wood but i'm not sure the selectors have anywhere else to go.

equally there is no one in this squad that jumps to mind that you can say really deserves a shot.

england are just a bit **** i'm afraid. lot of dross in that side.

I can sort of see some justification if they’re giving him 4 over spells as part of a 5 man attack (although even then he’s not shown himself to be much cop) but as part of a 4 is just pointless, especially as Leach is also an unknown quantity. There’s an argument that if they’re not picking Livingstone that Woakes is more likely to score runs then Vince in any event.
